BURROWS & BADGERS: SECOND EDITION

Written by Michael Lovejoy
Illustrated by Peter Johnston

A new revised and expanded edition of the popular wargame Burrows & Badgers.

The Kingdom of Northymbra is a land in turmoil. King Redwulf is missing, and his son rules as regent in his stead, facing threats from within and without: growing dissention among the knights and nobles of the realm, whispers of revolution from the Freebeasts, Hillfolk raiding the borders, and bandits of all stripes making the most of the chaos.

Burrows & Badgers: Second Edition is a revised and expanded version of the popular tabletop skirmish game set in the ancient realm of Northymbra, a kingdom where mice, badgers, toads, and other animals wear armour, wield swords, and cast magic spells. This updated edition contains new content including additional background material, new species, warband types and a whole host of new spells, skills, and equipment.

Each model in Burrows & Badgers: Second Edition represents an individual character, and can be selected from a wide range of species – from the humble mouse to the mighty badger – and armed and equipped as desired. Scenarios link into ongoing campaigns, where heroes and villains may make their names and the assistance of infamous mercenaries might mean the difference between victory and defeat. Lead your warband from battle to battle, and uphold the name of your faction, whether you stand with Reinert’s Royalists, the Freebeasts of the Fox Families, or simply for your own glory or survival.

Coming April 2025.

PACIFIC COMMAND:
WARGAMING WWII AIRCRAFT CARRIER BATTLES

Written by Mike Hutchinson
Illustrated by Edouard A. Groult

A World War II tabletop miniatures naval wargame set in the Pacific.

Pacific Command is a naval miniatures wargame focusing on carrier combat in the Pacific during the Second World War, in which fleets of battleships, cruisers, carriers, and destroyers trade savage blows under skies filled with fighting aircraft.

The game features a unique fog-of-war mechanic which simulates the scale of these conflicts and the uncertainty under which admirals had to act. Deploy your fleet first as radar blips, allowing you to conceal the true location and configuration of your forces until it is too late for your opponent. Spring your trap at the opportune moment and descend upon them with torpedo, bomb, and gun.

Pacific Command is underpinned with elegant dice pool mechanics to swiftly resolve both air and sea battles, a tense reconnaissance system, and a flexible command token resource to allow you to outwit and outmanoeuvre your opponent. Bait your enemies to commit their ships and aircraft before you reveal your true plan. With each battle, you take a crucial step on the path to victory in the Pacific.

Coming May 2025.

VOIDFIGHTER:
A SCIENCE FICTION DOGFIGHTING WARGAME

Written by Casey Garske
Illustrated by Dimitris Martinos

A simple wargame for cinematic space dogfights.

Voidfighter is a wargame of space-fighter dogfights where players pilot their craft using the robust but streamlined movement rules, with the possibility of special manoeuvres including barrel rolls and Immelmann turns, in an effort to defeat your foes. Using a simple set of ship characteristics based around differing die types, and a variety of additional traits and weapons, players can create and customize the ship of their dreams from a pool of classes.

However, for those wanting a simpler experience right away, the book also contains a great number of examples and existing types based upon classic sci-fi tropes and ideas. Also contained in Voidfighter are rules for a selection of celestial phenomena and other terrain types, a variety of differing scenarios, and a campaign system enabling pilots to increase in skill over the course of several games.

Coming June 2025.

HIDE, STONE, AND BONE:
A PALAEOLITHIC SKIRMISH WARGAME

Hide, Stone, and Bone is a wargame of ice age survival, hunting, and combat where players take control of a tribe of early human ancestors and lead them to survival and victory over other tribes. Using alternating activations and d10-based core rules, Hide, Stone, and Bone also places great emphasis on the campaign system, which is a core part of the experience, as well as other mechanics that represent the dangers of prehistory, notably fear. Each campaign is divided into seasons with various ‘Big Days’ representing scenarios. Scenarios range from multiplayer mammoth hunts to bands being hunted by cave bears and various tribal combat scenarios. In between Big Days tribes attempt to gather food, make weapons, or consult tribal shamans. Campaigns are aimed not just at defeating other tribes, but to also allow players to win even if the tides of human-on-human warfare are against them. Hide, Stone, and Bone gives players all the tools they need to survive the ice age and prosper.

Coming November 2025.
