So, if you took a 2,200 man United States Marine Expeditionary Unit along with all its gear, weapons, and vehicles, and zapped them back to the time of Augustus Caesar, could the Marines take down the whole Empire, including its over 300,000 soldiers?
Apparently, one man's answer landed him a movie writing deal, according to this article in Popular Mechanics.
I don't know the answer to the question, but I'd sure like to see the movie!
(Mike made the good point that used correctly, the Marine night vision gear could prove a huge advantage...at least as long as the batteries lasted). So what do you guys think?
