The Barbaros Hayreddin was a pre-dreadnough battleship of the Ottoman Empire. On the 5th of January 1913, she fought and was damaged in the final naval battle of the First Balkan War, Lemnos, against the Kingdom of Greece. After this engagement, the Ottoman fleet was obliged to return to its base in the Dardanelles and stay there for the rest of the war.
