Right, now that we are settled into our new office, unpacked a few hundred boxes of books and cleared the desks of piles of rubble and the other detritus of the past, we finally have the chance to sit down, catch our breath and contemplate the future. And what better way is there of looking at the future of Osprey than looking at our publishing schedule for 2014?

Yes, as promised, it is August and it is time to reveal what books are appearing in each series in 2014. And we are starting with the newest series in our stable - Combat. The very first books in the Combat series (CBT 1 British Paratrooper vs Fallschirmjager: Mediterranean 1942-43 and CBT 2 Union Infantryman vs Confederate Infantryman: Eastern Theater 1861-65) are available to pre-order now, launch next month and have already been picking up a bunch of pretty positive reviews, so we are looking forward to this next batch of titles in the series.

So enough waffle, lets see what 2014 will offer us.


Combat 5: British Infantryman vs German Infantryman: Somme 1916 (Jan 2014)

Combat 6: Roman Soldier vs Germanic Warrior: 1st Century AD (May 2014)

Combat 7: German Infantryman vs Soviet Rifleman: Barbarossa 1941 (July 2014)

Combat 8: US Marine vs Japanese Infantryman: Guadalcanal 1942-43 (Sept 2014)

 

So that is the line-up for Combat in 2014. As ever, let us know what you think and which of these you are most looking forward to.

Remember, titles, dates etc are all still subject to change. Every now and then books run late, or end up disappearing completely, so whilst this is our planned schedule... there will inevitably be some changes! Keep an eye on the blog for the rest of the titles coming out in 2014!
