On September 15, 1940 the Battle of Britain experienced its fiercest fighting, a peak that has been remembered as Battle of Britain Day. This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the event.

It's a good time to remember the brave fliers who lost their lives in the battle.

If you are looking for a way to commemorate the event and happen to be in the Oxford area, you can see Osprey Editor and Author, Kate Moore, speak about the battle at the Abingdon Library, tonight at 7:30.
