A couple of weekends ago, Osprey, along with thousands of visitors, veterans, re-enactors and history enthusiasts, headed out to Reading, PA for the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's 19th Annual WWII weekend... and it was quite the weekend.

We trucked out in the rain on Friday morning, expecting a dismal turnout and even worse sales. Surprisingly, reenactors and enthusiasts alike braved the downpour to meet Col Ed Shames and flip through some Osprey books. We brought with us all the remaining stock of Tonight We Die As Men in the US and sold out by Saturday morning. The book is reprinting and should be back in stock by the end of the month if you haven't gotten a chance to read it yet.

The sunshine on Saturday and Sunday brought with it visitors dressed in elaborate period costumes and 1940s regalia, air planes doing tricks and turns and battle re-enactments in full force. Although I didn't get to see any re-enactments (beyond the occasional cloud of black smoke), I did get to help out at the book signing of Tonight We Die As Men with both Ed Shames and Hank DiCarlo, members of the Third Battalon, 506 PIR.

Below are some pictures of the show and a few re-enactors. Enjoy!
