Marco Maggi and Francesco Nepitello started collaborating on creative projects in the late eighties of the past century. Ina career now spanning almost thirty years, they have created role-playinggames, card games and board games for children and adults. They are especially known for games based on popular intellectual properties, like the Marveluniverse, Doctor Who, Conan the Barbarian or the writings of H.P. Lovecraft.Their greatest achievements so far are tied to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien –Marco and Francesco have created some of the best-known games based of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Their love for deep and engaging fantasticalworlds has led them to appreciate and explore Susanna Clarke’s masterpiece - Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.
