Hi folks,

Sorry to whinge about on going website issues again but the site looks like its had another e-breakdown.

Currently the NVG page is spawning duplicate titles like amoeba in a Petri dish. NVG 253, 254 and 255 are the current culprits. You still have one on the CAM page too thats been there ages and has never been addressed (CAM 286).

Please can you update some of your "temporary" covers on books that have been out ages too. DUE 80 and MAA 508 spring to mind. Don't even get me started on ACE 35 (published 18 years ago but still proudly sporting its "temporary" cover!!!!).

You are missing loads of series numbers on titles too. ACM and CAM seem to be the main culprits - there may be others.

Oh and to top it off MAA Vichy Security Forces has reappeared on the CAM page!!!

Im sorry to moan but these things make browsing the website annoying and frustrating. It can't be great for sales on affected titles either.

Thanks

Guys, we love you, but the site maintenance has been a chronic problem.  May I also mention more missing short codes on the CAM page?  Not to mention it's tough to sort them by short code because some titles will inevitably be put out of order at the top of the list.

Hi,

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, we are working to get these fixed as soon as possible.

We have got to the bottom of the multiple New Vanguard titles and they should be grouped together very soon, along with the Campaign duplicate. The covers you've mentioned have now been updated too, and we'll be looking at other covers to make sure we update them when we can.

We did update the majority of our eBooks, as mentioned here: https://ospreypublishing.com/forum/update-on-the-pdf-resolution-issue/?p=1. The only two titles we have not yet updated are Duel 81 and 85,, but we are working hard to resolve this.

We really do appreciate your feedback and we are investigating these recurring problems and trying hard to resolve them.

Kind regards,
Robert@Osprey

Robert @ Osprey, I'm afraid that MAA 512: Armies of the Wars of Italian Unification is also still in need of correction and updating.

Robert@Osprey - Many thanks for addressing these issues (especially ACE 35!!!). Please dont think we are having a go, its just as Osprey fans we want the website to be as good and professional looking as possible because, lets face it, the more books Osprey sells the more new titles we get to enjoy!

PS. There are two NVG titles that need their temporary covers updating that I missed in my original email - NVG 231 & NVG 232.

Many thanks

Just spotted two more temporary covers that need updating; NVG 246 and CAM 291. Thanks.

And another... CAM Santa Cruz has no cover image at all, no short code and no series number.

Hi all,

I am posting this one here, as the post I submitted on February 20th has not been even shown by Osprey, let alone answered.

I pointed out a mistake in a photograph in Shanghai & Nanjing 1937 (CAM 309) last October. Osprey said it would work on a solution. Nothing till now. My post of February 20th, in the correct topic (and again, never shown in the initial webpage) is:

"Good day,

just to ask Osprey if anything has been done regarding this mistake. I pointed it out several months ago.

Thank you"

Dear Osprey team: are you doing something, or just letting us heavy users point out issues for nothing?. If so, please tell us and we will not waste our time

Regards

PH

Hi all,

We are still working on some of the issues raised here, thank you all for your patience, we will hopefully have these resolved this week.

ph, in regards to your enquiry, I am afraid I am struggling to find your initial post, could you let me know what the correction was so I can follow this up.

Kind regards,
Robert@Osprey

Hello Robert,

the post topic was: "Shanghai and Nanjing 1937". It is in the WW II chapter of the forum. There is one mistaken photograph in the book: instead of Von Falkenhausen, the photograph is of Von Falkenhayn (German WW I CoGS).

You can follow the stream there

Thank you

Ph

Hi Ph,

I'm very sorry that no one replied to that post, I can confirm that this error was resolved for future printings, and the eBook versions have the correct image featured.

Many thanks,

Robert

Thank you Robert,

can we, buyers of the un-revised book, have a peek on the photograph?. I am curious, as all the photographs I have seen are from later in time, in WWII or afterwards

Regards

Ph

Hi Ph,

Whilst I cannot attach a scan here, I have included a link to the photograph of von Falkenhausen that has been used, which is featured on his wikipedia page:

Best wishes,
Robert
