Anybody think Osprey should have updated re-releases of some of their older Campaign titles?

I think it would be great if Osprey took some of their older titles, like CAM 49 Mons, CAM 60 Megiddo, CAM 74 The Rhineland, CAM 96 Okinawa, etc. and re-released them with updated content, formatting, artwork, and most importantly, new 3-D BEV maps.

I've actually just added a few of those titles in order to fill out my collection. They are a bit dated, and i think everything prior to Rorke's Drift is missing illustrations. Some of the very early ones could do with new versions, particularly Gallipoli. Okinawa had a lot of flaws from the start, but given the Kamikaze campaign is getting its own title in East China Sea the land campaign could get a revamp in the way Guadalcanal did. New Orleans and Vicksburg could do with revamps, I'm not sure how the British Imperial campaigns will fare though, might depend on how the Afghan War and Sikh War books performed. Seigfried Line should have been two books: Aachen and the Huertgen Forest. |

Gosh yes, much as I do like new battles being covered, some of the older titles desperately need a re-vamp. New Orleans is seriously in need of re-writing and I would really like to see Leipzig expanded to at least 2 volumes. |
