I think it would be great if Osprey took some of their older titles, like CAM 49 Mons, CAM 60 Megiddo, CAM 74 The Rhineland, CAM 96 Okinawa, etc. and re-released them with updated content, formatting, artwork, and most importantly, new 3-D BEV maps.

The older CAM titles are harder to get into. Their BEV maps were hand-drawn rather than cgi and lacked the helpful scale grids, and the artwork was not as detailed. Some of the information is inaccurate and I know several titles featured dedicated wargaming sections that took up space. Osprey has done updated titles in the past, such as with Guadalcanal and Midway, and are doing some right now with Stalingrad and Gettysburg. Anybody want them to do more?

I've actually just added a few of those titles in order to fill out my collection.  They are a bit dated, and i think everything prior to Rorke's Drift is missing illustrations.  Some of the very early ones could do with new versions, particularly Gallipoli.  Okinawa had a lot of flaws from the start, but given the Kamikaze campaign is getting its own title in East China Sea the land campaign could get a revamp in the way Guadalcanal did.  New Orleans and Vicksburg could do with revamps, I'm not sure how the British Imperial campaigns will fare though, might depend on how the Afghan War and Sikh War books performed.  Seigfried Line should have been two books: Aachen and the Huertgen Forest.

Hi both!

Thank you for your comment. I'll pass this over to editorial and let them know you'd be interested in seeing revised versons of some of our older titles.

With best wishes,

Gosh yes, much as I do like new battles being covered, some of the older titles desperately need a re-vamp. New Orleans is seriously in need of re-writing and I would really like to see Leipzig expanded to at least 2 volumes.

I'm in the 50 50 camp here, I'd like to see new battles covered but also think some of the earlier titles could do with a new lick of paint. For example the original Arnhem title, albeit covering the whole of  Op Market Garden in total was a good introduction but was clearly expanded in the 3 book set.
