In posting this I would like an explanation from someone, especially someone from Osprey as to why I have found artwork in the members area when looking at specific publications which are wholly unrelated

One exmaple:

Looking at Alesia 52 BC when looking at the Books artwork in the members area, there is artwork which is from World War Two!

For paying a fee per month to have members access and look at and receive wrong information is unacceptable

Hi SimonMc,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we have now removed the unconnected artwork from Alesia 52 BC and would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused. While all new member content is checked when it is uploaded, and random checks are carried out on existing content, unfortunately, with over 7,000 images available on the members section, problems with specific images can sometimes occur and can be difficult to detect. We are currently in the process of investigating this further to find out what has caused the problem so that we can try to ensure that it does not happen again.

Once again, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Hi AdamC,

Thanks for letting us know. We've removed the incorrect content and are working on getting them to import to the appropriate location.

Thanks,
Pete

Hi AdamC,

Consider it done (because I've done it). Apologies for it being in the wrong place!

Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete! That's great!

While we are on the subject we may as well go for a clean sweep! The only other examples of artwork being in the wrong place that I know of appear in the Aircraft of the Aces and Combat Aircraft series. Specifically ACE 119, 120 & 121 all of which have exactly 9 incorrect profiles in them and Combat Aircraft 104 & 107 which also have 9 incorrect profiles from other books in them. Please could these be sorted out too and then I'll stop bothing you, lol!

Cheers!

Hi AdamC,

They should all be fixed now. We'll continue investigating so we can get to the bottom of what caused this!

Thanks,
Pete
