We've got the "Pirate of the Far East 811-1639" title, but I think we could really do with an Osprey book, maybe in the Warrior or Elite series, that focuses on later piracy in Asia, specifically the outbreak that hit the South China coasts around the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This was one of the most troublesome periods of piracy in early-modern China, the era of pirate "warlords" like Zheng Yi and Ching Shih (one of the more well-known female pirates in history) who commanded large fleets, some of which were more akin to private navies, that caused trouble not just for local Asian shipping but also Western trade in the region. It's a really fascinating part of both pirate and East-Asian history that doesn't always get a lot of attention in English-language literature.

Sounds a very good suggestion Miko, I'd be interested in that.
