Is there another aircraft other than a Spitfire that could be used though, as much as I love Spitfires I think they are in danger of being covered to death, plus I think there is already a Duel title with the Oscar, against a P40 if I am not mistaken, great area just could do with different aircraft possibly that have not been covered yet.

I agree, Daz- not sure this would add much to the narratives in P-40 vs Oscar and Seafire vs Zero. The Hurricane might be a more appropriate opponent; you'd get a good long struggle with plenty of examples of combat, and it would be interesting to see how the older British fighter coped against the Japanese. We talked about good matches for the Spit in a recent thread. I reckon the duel with the 109 was suitably covered in Mk I/II vs Emil (would V vs F or IX vs G really add much that wasn't obvious from the first book?) and I'm really looking forward to next year's duel with the Macchi 202. Beyond that, I think the one really interesting Spitfire duel left uncovered would be IX vs FW 190A, given that one was supposed to be the answer to the other.

The air war over Burma is the forgotten air war, the RAF were incredibly busy from 1942-45, I'd agree on Hurricane vs Ki-43 Oscar and the Spitfire IX vs FW 190A. But more Burma coverage would be nice
