Anyone think it would be nice to see a few books from the 'Weapon' series on the following?

- Degtyaryov machineguns

- The ZB-26 machinegun (and later Czechoslovak variants up to the 1950s)

- The Škorpion machinepistol

- Polish Weapons of World War II (could cover things like the FB Vis "Radom" pistol, Wz. 35 AT rifle, and even wartime resistance stuff like the Błyskawica submachinegun).

I just think there are a lot of interesting/noteworthy firearms designs from Central and Eastern Europe that could do with a good Osprey title for those of us who aren't fluent in the local languages.

I concur. I'd definitely want to see something like "Soviet semi-automatic rifles" (covering weapons such as the SVT-40 and SKS) or "Soviet Pistols" (covering weapons such as the TT-33 and the Makarov pistol)

I'd be very happy to see all of these, but can I put in a plea for some books on French weapons? Berthier rifle and the MAS and MAT submachine guns would not go amiss.

A book on Mannlicher rifles would be nice too.

@EDave Re: "Soviet Pistols" book, it would be great to see them cover something like the Stechkin APS too.

@PaintyBeard Well yes, in general there are many parts of the world that could do with having their firearms covered by an Osprey title or two. I am still hoping for one on Nambu light-machineguns, as well as perhaps the Carcano rifle series, the Beretta M38 submachinegun, or maybe even the Lebel 1886 by virtue of it being the first (to my knowledge) service rifle to use smokeless powder.

Again some good suggestions there, particularly like the polish weapons of ww2.
