I have purchased another batch of books, both paperback and eBook PDF, which I want to download from my account -> My eLibrary.

Sorting in the eLibrary
I first looked at the sorting options, but there is no sort option for PURCHASE DATE, which would allow me to easily and sequentially go through my newly purchased ebooks and download them.
Is it possible for you guys to add a SORT BY option for PURCHASE DATE?

SEARCH BY Filter
When I noticed that wasn't available, I went to simply filter by purchase date. Unfortunately, that doesn't work right either.
I set the Show per Page option to 24, which is the maximum available. I then entered 12/12/2020 in the filter text box.
I now have TWO pages of eBooks with this purchase date. That's great and what I expected.
However, when I click to go to page TWO, the filter is RESET and I am back to looking at ALL my eBooks (THREE pages).
So, the filter is not working properly when there are more than one page in the filtered result.

I have also tried to trick the system by replacing the variabele /?limit=24 by /?limit=100 in the Url. That way I could have had the filtered result in one page. But that doesn't work. Apparently the options are hardcoded in the script code. So, I have no solution for this issue, temporary or otherwise.

Thanks!

Yes, I'm afraid this is just one more aspect of Ospreys failure to come to terms with electronic media.

I have found it almost impossible to search for any title that has a hyphen in it. (e.g. the recent Campaign title: "Aleutains 1942-43") The only way to find it is to go through ones entire library, and even that usually takes several attempts...

Ouch... that doesn't sound good, at all.
I hope someone at Osprey would want to take a closer look at all of that (fingers crossed). Basically, it's not that hard to program.
Back-end options for customers are just as important as selling books... especially when one has amassed a respectable library of (e)books.

Hmm...

Hi both,

Thanks for the feedback. I've passed it on to our technical team to see if there's anything that we can do to improve the filter functions.

Many thanks,

Emily @ Osprey

Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know that we have now added an option to sort by purchase date in your eLibrary.

Best wishes,
