I have just finished reading the Catalaunian Fields and the Attila the Hun Command books.

A few questions were raised like where was the Gallic Field Army is the main one?

I been interested in the later Roman period for a while ever since I read Stilicho the Vandal who saved Rome by Ian Hughes.

My question is would there be any chance of books being written about Roman armies from say the time of Constantine I to say 476 AD.

Concentrate on the western half of the Roman Empire.

Compliment and update the two Warrior titles Late Roman Infantryman and Cavalryman.

I'm thinking and about the origin and formation of the auxilia palatina units, the decline of close order heavy infantry as the main battle winner, the rise of cavalry and influences and the composition of said forces how and when raised.

The rise of personal bodyguards for prominent Roman citizens and their uses.
