Hello,

I have an  question for Osprey publishing.

Do you have any plans to reprint "out of stock" books ?

I remember that you make couple of times a customer poll for witch books to reprint.

Hi Tomi,

Which books are you interested in that are currently out of stock, and I can look into that for you?

Many thanks,
Robert

Indian Infantry Regiments 1860–1914

The Grenadier Guards

Austrian Auxiliary Troops 1792–1816

Napoleon's Campaigns in Italy

Napoleon's Italian Troops

Napoleon's Sea Soldiers

Wellington's Generals

Prussian Reserve, Militia & Irregular Troops 1806–15

Austrian Army of the Napoleonic Wars (1)

The Russian Army of the Napoleonic Wars

Napoleon's Marshals

Foot Grenadiers

Blücher’s Army 1813–15

The Austro-Hungarian Army of the Napoleonic Wars

Spanish Armies of the Napoleonic Wars

Napoleon’s Artillery

Scandinavian Armies in the Napoleonic Wars

The British Troops in the Indian Mutiny 1857–59

The Mexican Adventure 1861–67

18th-Century Highlanders

US Infantry Equipments 1775–1910

Montcalm’s Army

Royal Scots Greys

The Buffs

and I mean printed versions, not eBooks..

Hi, I agree with the vast majority of that list, the majority have been out of print for a very long time. I'd also add new vanguard - long range desert group please.

I'd like to see ebooks format for most of those books on that list.

Some there I'd like to purchase in either form.

I strongly second this initiative, specially Paul W's NV LRDG's vehicles. I think a lot of us would be interested

Cicerius: I cannot find the exact post, but about 6 months ago, when answering a similar query, one of the Osprey staff stated that there were no plans to transfer any more of their past catalogue to the ebook or pdf format.

Personally I thing this is a poor decision and a major opportunity is being missed.

Hi Tomi,

Unfortunately, these out of stock books are out of print. We appreciate your enthusiasm for our older titles, but there are no current plans to reprint these. I apologise for the disappointing news.

Kind regards,

Robert

That's a shame, especially the prices the books are going for on ebay, in various states of disrepair.  Personally several of mine are showing their age and I can't get a decent replacement.
