Just came across this interesting link about North Korea's 10 most provacative actions after 1953:

South Korean forces have seen plenty of action in the truce that has lasted over 60 years. I think an Elite title about their forces that have confronted North Korean infiltators and participated in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan would sell well. Thoughts?

We need more Raid titles, full stop. But anything more in the regular series about the Korean war is long overdue.

Hi Guys,

I think that's a good idea GI Gene! You could go for South Korean forces 1950-2015 though. This way you could look at the embryonic, poorly equipped force they were at the start of the Korean War and chart their development through the war and subsequent stand off with the North looking at how they have become the moderen fighting force of today. The earlier period is important as the differences between the South Korean army in 1950 and the post war period are huge! Great idea though.

I'd also like to see more on the Korean war in the regular series too folks. Combat Aircraft has given us a few recently but nobody else. I do seem to remember Osprey chipping in once a while back when this topic came up and saying that Korean War books don't tend to sell well though.
