Posted by: xeneize The rise of roman navy, was the decisive factor in the first punic war, from almost nothing to a naval power!! The campaigns in Africa and Sicily secondary, the naval battles was the decisive factor, the human and material resources put in the war was amaizing, Ecnomo was the biggest naval battle in the History. Was the first, great step, for Rome to become a world superpower, deserve a book!!!
