Amazon UK has reinstated its list of Osprey titles for the first quarter of 2022 on its web site.  The good thing about this list is that it shows the series each paperback book will fall under.  There are, however, two exceptions.  These are:

“Fw190D-9: Northwest Europe 1944-45”; Robert Forsyth (author); Gareth Hector & Jim Laurier (illustrators); ISBN-13: 9781472849397; and

“P-51B/C Mustang: Northwest Europe 1943-44”; Chris Bucholtz (author); Gareth Hector & Jim Laurier (illustrators); ISBN-13: 9781472850041.

Both these titles are to be paperbacks of 80 pages to be published on 15 February 2022.  Their page length does not seem to fit any of the existing series.  Are they the start of a new series?  Can anyone throw any light on this?

They seem too long to be bringing back AVG, which I wish they would.

I’ve just seen a mock-up of the cover of one of these books on the Book Depository web site.  It seems these books are going to be part of a ‘Dogfight’ series.

Can you tell us more Minal, especially about contents?

Another aviation series? Will be interesting to see if there is anything new to add to the quite abundance of material in other series.  Although as Emily asks I will be staying tuned!
