Posted by: MTG I've yet to read the campaign on the Tet Offensive (ordered it yesterday) and I'm sure it covers the VC assault on the US Embassy in Saigon but is there any mileage in covering this in more depth in the Raid series?

I believe the raid on the radio station was more important, a Raid title could cover all major raids in Saigon.

Despite the absurdity of claiming the Tet Offensive to be launched because the Westmoreland strategy was taking its toll - exactly the opposite - this British documentary is interesting. The Americans were caught completely by surprise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jc9Ljr8HP14 The raid against the radio station was crucial to the whole offensive, the Communists hoped to broadcast to all South Vietnam they had captured the country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BE6FEKJhwg8
