What is this?? The discount was supposed to be available for the rest of the month! June 30th is still June, isn't it?? Or maybe you have a different definition of what a month is?

This is what you literally wrote on your website: "extend our sale for an extra month! Throughout June you will still be able to take advantage of our great discounts and order our books and games direct to your home. For the rest of the month, get 45% off eBooks, 30% off print books and 20% off board and card games"

So, now what?? I was entering my order for about 30 books and 20 eBooks. Obviously I am not going to order ANYTHING anymore if this is how you handle your business.

Since I joined as a Gold Member and made my order through Osprey, it has been one disappointment after another.

How are we going to solve this??

This could be (and most probably is) a glitch. Cool

 

A nice idea, though, would be to extend the discount period through the summer months including books published in March, April, May and June.  Money mouth Innocent

Hi @destrier13,

I'm sure it is. Someone probably wrote ">30 June", instead of "<1 July" in the CMS to apply discounts. Whatever it is, though, it is preventing me from taking advantage from this discount the way I expected and should have been able to.

And before someone asks why I waited until the very last day to order, I was waiting for a reply from customer service to verify a solution for another issue with PDF eBooks. But since they haven't replied yet, I decided to trust them on being able and willing to solve the issue and take the plonge and order all the books I had been selecting previously.
Also, I am a new Gold Member customer of Osprey (since June 11th, 2020), so, I have not been able to make much use of the discount and wasn't able to make another large order again earlier (I have already made one order of 20 printed books + 15 PDF eBooks) and was preparing for the second one until I ran into the issue with the PDF files (see my other post in the GENERAL category of the forum).

With that in mind, I would definitely and truly appreciate another extension of the discount period! Can you do it, Osprey?

I don't know what is happening, but I am unable to properly add a new post. The post gets deformed for some reason.


Anyway, @Minal just sent me an email that the problem is solved. The discount is in effect again.
