Interviewed in "The Times" today Mr Hutton was asked if he was not terrified at the prospect of jumping into German-occupied territory. His reply: " Terrified? Of course not, I'm a vicious little Scot. We were all young, we were all fit, we all wanted to fight." I hope, when the situation requires it, we will continue to produce such gentlemen.

I saw an interview with a 101st vet who made the jump and they asked him "Was it any similar this time?" "No. There wasn't anyone shooting at me. It was much nicer."
