Posted by: mrhistory2 this month's book vote one of the books you can vote for the Greco-Turkish war of 1919-22 which is mispelled, but I still know what it means. I think the battle of Sakarya could get a camapign book since it was a big, bloody, month long battle. I have seen it suggested once before. it involved around 100,000 Turkish soldiers led by Ataturk and over 120,000 Greek soldiers led by Constaine 1. it ended with a Turkish victory and had over 50,000 losses.both Greek-Turkish wars from 1897 and 1919-22. the Italo-Turkish war,Balkan wars,WW1,the War of independence including the fights with France,Greece, and Armenia could perhaps be fitted into the command book on Ataturk this battle certainly deserves a campaign book because of the huge, pivotal battle it was and it is not considered too obcure.

Not misspelled (which you misspelled :) ) but the UK spelling of Greco. Like color/colour, valor/valour, center/centre etc.

How else would Greco- be spelled? Surely there's only one way of spelling it? As the prefix for Greece, it seems to be spelt OK to me.
