Hi, while very appreciative of the black Friday discount ( having just had my birthday and close to Xmas, I've been very lucky) I just wondered why the new Jutland book is only discounted in the e-book version and not hardback? All the others are either in both formats or neither.

Hi Paul, If the "new" Jutland book that you are referring to is "Jutland 1916: The Archaeology of a Naval Battlefield" then it isn't exactly new.  This book was first published in 2016 by Conway, an imprint of Bloomsbury Plc.  I assume Osprey's version is a reprint rather than a revised version.
Innes McCartney's book received widespread acclaim when it came out though there were criticisms of the quality of some of the underwater photographs and some of the maps.  Still, you can't please everyone.  I would have thought that after this time though you could get a hardback version for less than £30 (that's more that I paid for my copy of the original version) two years ago.

Thanks Ken, I was able to get it from Foyles, using their black Friday deal.
