Is it possible we could see the artwork for the titles being released over the next 3 months uploaded soon? Access to the artwork was one of the main reasons I bought Silver membership in the first place. Thanks.

Hi Gavin,

The image artwork for each title is available the same month the book publishes so the artwork for the October titles should be up in the next few weeks.

Best,

I'm afraid I've got to come back to this because the artwork for October still hasn't been added.

I will also have to agree with Gavin Brown on this. The problem is in my view that Osprey Publishing doesn't provide a clear timeline when to espect the plates, and as such it becomes a bit disipointing when you wait months and then it can takes more than a week after the release to upload the plates. One of the main reasons I have decided to pay for the membership is early access to the plates. In my opinion there 3 items that we should reach a conclusion:

1. When to expect the plates (better set a later term and thus a more resonable terms than an earlier term that wouldn't be feasible  - If Osprey can actually do it earlier than expected for some books, that would be a nice surprise for the clients.

2.  A more transparent way of signaling if the plates for a specific book will be display. (i would like to know if the plates for  "The Numidians 300 BC–AD 300" that will be published on January will be displayed or not for example - I would apreciate if You willl respond to that)

3. As a customer when I bought the membership  the plates were displayed months before publishing. From that point i would say that as a customer I am a bit disipointed about the curent conditions vs the original conditions (or what I expect).

To: Osprey Publishing Team: Forgive me, if I sounded a bit harsh!I actually appreciate your hard work expecially given the current Pandemic contex. As a customer I don't see all the other issues that you have to solved every day in order to bring the Books to Publishing Day.  Keep Up Your Good Work.

Hi Gavin and Gie,

I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

There was a glitch that prevented the artwork from feeding through. This has now been fixed so the artwork for October- December books are available to view. Going forward, the image artwork for the titles will be displayed the month of publication, if not before.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Best,

Minal @ Osprey
