As a disclaimer, I want to say that I love CAM 335. I think Zaloga's research and writing are excellent as always. The errors on the 3-D map do not really detract from the main content, but they're still quite noticeable. I'd like to point them out to you guys, hopefully for a revised edition at some point. There are errors on two of the 3-D maps.

The first map, showing the initial engagement at Mortain pages 32-33, has swapped the labels for Hills 314 and Hill 285. According to the author, Hill 285 should be to the west of Mortain and Hill 314 to the east, rather than the other way around. Also the label for Co. E, 2nd Battalion 117th infantry is missing:

The second map, showing the engagement at Le Mesnil Adelee pages 50-51, is missing the event marker for event number 14:

Again I want to reiterate that the book was still excellent, and would like to say that despite the labelling errors, the maps themselves and the battlescenes in this title were excellent.

Best regards.

No worries! Minal @ Osprey. I appreciate it anyways. Do you think they could let me know if/when this issue is fixed?

Thanks,

Hi Kyle,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

We have passed your notes to the editor and they have been marked up for future reprints. Unfortunately, since we’re not sure when this title will be reprinted, it is difficult to keep you informed on its status. However, if you check back at the end of the year, we might have more information.

Regards,

Minal @ Osprey

At least this problem is DIY-fixable with Acrobat Pro. Thanks for pointing it out Cool
