  Topic Description
Posted by: .George Washington Osprey has covered most major battles of the American Civil war but there are still major gaps to fill. a significant one I can think of is Bragg's Confederate invasion of Kentucky and the battle of Perryville. several years ago I visited the battlefield and walked the ground where this great battle was fought. I own several books on the battle and have watched a very good movie/documentary on it. the battle was fought in 90 degree weather due to a drought even though it was in early October. I would love to see Osprey do a book on this great battle in their CAM Series. comments please.
