As you know, I have a certain weakness for browsing Youtube for footage of old warmachines, particularly combat footage. This time, I was on the hunt for a video of the Panzer 38 (t) in action. Whilst there were some old clips, and an enticing, but sadly (for me) unintelligible, Italian documentary on the earlier German armour, what caught my attention was the below clip of a working Pz.Kpfw.38(t) marauding (admittedly not very far) around what looks like a car park in Kubinka, Russia.

Whoever is driving is doing a pretty good job, not to mention the team that worked to reconstruct/service the tank. The real treat for me is hearing the engine roar!

The Panzer 38(t) was one of the German warmachine's best and most reliable early war tanks, and it was also the only foreign design (originally Czech) deemed good enough to remain in production for the Wehrmacht for the entireity of the war.
