Operation Barbarossa Kirchubel has done an excellent job of merging his previous three books to produce a detailed but readable account of Operation Barbarossa. The overall shape of the campaign remains clear, but the uneven progress of the German armies on the ground and the repeated Soviet counterattacks are not neglected, so the true complexity of this massive campaign is also very apparent. – History of War 

BOLT 5 Bolt Action: Armies of Imperial Japan Enriched by superb photos and illustrations, this little book is an excellent primer and highly recommended. – Miniature Wargames

The Boys of '67 Despite that melancholy feel this is a book that I can thoroughly recommend. It gives a valuable insight into the life of the ordinary soldier early in the American involvement in Vietnam, and includes a fascinating series of post-war biographies, tracing the often difficult struggles of many of the survivors to adapt to their post-war lives. – History of War
