              TOP SECRET

      FIELD COMMUNICATION REPORT

          REF. 196A (Agent O)

On 20.6.1944, we received a coded message from one of our field agents. Communications with the agent were then lost.

Unable to decipher the message, we resolved to contact our top decoders. Working tirelessly, they were able to decode the message as follows:

Greetings.

Agent O

The secret

code word is

'deception'

Good luck.

There is little need to explain how vitally important this data is, and we were able to utilise it to great effect (see REF. 189a (Operation Inferno)).

One particular decoder deserves special merit for his efforts: JOHN SPRY.

Perhaps, at a time when his identify can be safely revealed, he might receive a public commendation.

Until that day, we must continue on with our work.

Congratulations to John Spry, who is the lucky winner of a 16 GB Kobo Arc tablet!

We'd like to say thank you as well to the hundreds of other people who attacked the code and entered. We're sorry that there could only be one winner, but we hope you had some fun taking part!

And don't forget, you can use the code word deception to get 20% off the new paperback Deceiving Hitler - just enter it as a promotional code on our basket - but you've only got until Friday to use it!
