I made a special deck of Fog of War cards specific for this scenario, one of which was an appearance by an appirition of our Our Lady of Lourdes. This confused the robots at a crucial moment and allowed the humans to regain the initiative...
The game was eventually called on account of time. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly many of my co-workers picked up the rules of the game (even several non-wargamers). Of course the game also featured the true wargamer's friend:
