Stephen Decatur Day is almost upon us!

That’s right, in just five days, RAID 22: Decatur’s Bold and Daring Act: The Philadelphia in Tripoli 1804 officially hits the shops!

Yes, I admit it. I’ve got an advance copy and I’ve already read it from cover to cover. Well, look at that cover! How could I resist? The book has everything you could want from military history – a folk hero, pirates, the clash of sabres and thunder of flintlocks, a burning ship. If you don’t know the story of the raid, buy the book. You won’t be disappointed. If you are already a Stephen Decatur fan, then this is a must add to the collection.
