This first piece is by Steven Noon and comes from RAID 24: The Last Boarding Party – The USMC and the SS Mayaguez 1975 due out in September. I’ve got to admit that this is one of the books I’m most looking forward to. It contains a host of recently declassified information and photographs.
Next up we’ve got a Raffaele Ruggeri plate from MAA 471: Armies of the Adowa Campaign 1896. This one is also due out in September. If you are interested, you can read the earlier posts by author Sean McLachlan on his research in Ethiopia.
Finally, Peter Dennis turns in another classic, with Japanese charging ashore on Wake island for CAM: 144 Wake Island 1941, once again coming in September.
