I am on a bit of a roll now that I have just finished my blog about what books to expect in 2011 from our three main aviation series - so here we go with two more of our series - Fortress, Modelling and Essential Histories.

Fortress

Now, 2010 has been a bit of a bumper crop for Fortress. A great selection of titles, with some really brilliant artwork, covering some major subjects, and including yet another major milestone for one of our series, as Fortress 100 The Fuhrers Headquarters. So could we match such a great year with another bunch of titles in 2011? We sure have tried to!

FOR 101 The Forts of Colonial North America (January)
FOR 102 Defense of the Rhine 1944-45 (March)
FOR 103 The Fortifications of Verdun 1874-1917 (April)
FOR 104 Fortress Monasteries of the Himalayas (May)
FOR 105 Forts of the American Frontier 1776-1891 (October)

Essential Histories

We are sometimes accused of being overly attentive to US history, despite the fact that we are a British company. Well, 2011's Essential Histories should go a little way towards righting that assumption - two very strong 'local' titles!

ESS 72 The Jocobite Rebellion 1745-46 (April)
ESS 73 The Northern Ireland Troubles (August)

Modelling

Just one of our Masterclass titles due out this year - but it is a bit of a corker...particularly if you are interested in small-scale armour modelling!

MST Small Scale Armour Modelling (November)
