For the month of February the Shire journal will be concentrating on farming, agriculture and garden history. With a themed competition, a reading list and a list of other websites or news stories that have caught our eye the journal this month will be a valuable resource to anyone interested in these subjects. We are also proud to welcome a number of guest authors to the journal this month. We will bring you further news on these in the near future but they are on subjects as diverse as bee-keeping and ideas for alternative energy.
