The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System

This really interesting site was pointed out to me by one of our authors, Mark Lardas. On it, you can search for individual soldiers by name. Or you can look up regiments and scroll through the roster. Now, I'm lucky enough to know a lot about my Civil War ancestors, but it's always fun to check. This system found them all. It's a great starting point for family military research.
