Hello and welcome to Nostalgia November. Here on the Shire Journal we are going to have a different theme for every month. As the nights close in and the recession continues to take its toll let the Shire Journal transport you back to another time.

There will be quizzes, competitions and articles all with a nostalgia theme to enjoy. The Shire staff will be discussing their favourite board games and we would love to hear from you with any memories of titanic board game battles. Our twitter and Facebook pages will also reflect the nostalgia theme throughout the month. To give everything a true nostalgic feel I will only be writing Journal entries in olde English.*
