The author uses first-hand accounts from a number of British and German aces to describe various combat situations, which puts the human element into the FIGHTING OR WAR. He discusses the statistics and analysis, and includes Kill Charts for the Ace Pilots of the Hurricane 1 and Bf110. This is a well written book containing much interesting information together with full-color illustrations and period photographs throughout. This is a book that air enthusiasts will enjoy.

Hurricane I vs. Bf 110 -1940 is a great book for the modeler and historian alike. The photographs and drawings are a good resource for modeling and possible dioramas. It could be an inexpensive and valuable addition to any book collection on WWII aircraft. It is easy for me to give this book a 'Must Have' rating.

...makes for a most interesting read and provides a good look at these two important early war designs. It is a book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading and I'm sure you will as well. Like all Osprey titles it is one that I can easily recommend to you.
