Campaign: Sea Lion provides a complete storyline for a successful Operation Sea Lion, and how the occupation might have gone from there, thus enabling Bolt Action gamers to simulate authentic seeming battles within a plausible and consistent narrative. The book also includes 10 linked battles--a campaign--should players want to game through the entire 'history' of the war, from the opening coastal assaults, to tank battles in the cities, and run and gun skirmishes in the countryside. One of the missions involves an assassination attempt on Churchill: a great change of pace from frontline battle.

Campaign: Sea Lion is a very interesting expansion to Bolt Action that takes the game into an interesting direction. Some may not like that the game focuses on a battle that could have happened in theory but never did. To me, that is part of the charm as the game is different than the regular matches that we normally play.
