Mandela Fernández-Grandon is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, which served as the inspiration for his first game. Since that first release in 2020, he has won awards for his games designed both for the hobby and mass market. He designs in his spare time, spending the rest of his time as an associate professor leading research on insects, pheromones, and how we can use them to improve livelihoods.
