Osprey will be working from home from Tuesday 17th March. We plan to continue all our operations, while reducing risk of infection by having staff work from home. Please note that we are doing our best to manage incoming post and parcels. For the time being please refrain from sending items to our offices and please assume that items that you have sent to us, have not arrived with their intended recipient. Our priority remains the wellbeing of staff, authors, customers, freelancers, suppliers and distributors. We would like to thank all for their support whilst we transition to virtual operations.

April sees the centenary of the RAF, the world's first independence air force. To mark this anniversary we are publishing Michael Napier's magisterial new book, The Royal Air Force: A Centenary of Operations. If you have already got yourself a copy, or if you just want to get in the mood to celebrate this anniversary, then why not have a listen to our playlist that we think celebrates the history and spirit of the RAF.

Royal Air Force March Past

633 Squadron

White Cliffs of Dover

Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines

I would also suggest It's the Only Only Way from WW I. I suppose it was originally an RFC song, but they continued to sing it in the RAF. For WW II, don't forget the Warsaw Concerto. The composer actually served in Bomber Command. He went on-and survived-the Nuremberg raid.
