This beautiful plate, provided by Steve Noon, depicts Minty's charge at Lovejoy's Station on August 20, 1864.

Peter Dennis has provided our second illustration, showing the Dora super-heavy railway gun during the bombardment of the Soviet naval fortress at Sevastopol in 1942.

The final illustration for this month's artwork reveal comes from Adam Hook. It shows a BAR-gunner and some of the gear that would be available to the US infantry in World War II.

Very nice pictures, but I'm still not sure that I'll be buying these. The Campaign and Elite titles are mainly covering ground that Osprey been over before and the New Vanguard book looks like it will be another quick skim over too many subjects.
