Duel is not my favorite-serie. Some topics is almost the same from time to time (but I guess they sell, so I understand that). But there i some good here!
I like the books when there is two different kind of weapons (as 74, 76 and the x) and hope that it will be more of that.

Really looking forward to F-15 Eagle versus MiG-23/25! I am always happy to see more modern conflicts included in Osprey's series of books. Since the F-15 shot down practically all the Iraqi planes that were engaged, this will be an interesting read. I remember reading somewhere that one MiG-25 eluded one F-15 by landing on its airfield near Baghdad. Here is a cool video that details other exploits:

Hi guys!
Another great list for 2016, well done folks. I'm a big DUEL fan and there are some great titles here. I'm particularly looking forward to the M48 Vs Centurion and British Sub Vs Italian T-Boat titles. If I had a gripe (and its a minor one I admit) its that I cant quite see why the MiG 25 has been shoe horned into DUEL 72 but that's not really a major issue. I'll pick up all of these titles and look forward to some excellent battle scene art work. Bring on the next list!!!!

While Duel is not exactly my favourite series, I do concede that some good material does come up from time to time and useful comparisons between various weaponry can emerge. The two on the 2016 list that particularly caught my eye were 67 (Spitfire vs Bf109) and 74 (British Sub vs Italian Torpedo Boat).

I agree with Painty that 76 (USN vs Kamikazes) has potential but I think that it will be mainly about attacks on US carriers because they were, after all, the main Japanese target. Refer link below:

There were, however, quite a number of small US warships (destroyers, etc.) that were sunk as a result of kamikaze attacks. Somehow though I don’t think we’ll be reading about kamikaze pilot aces (5 ships or more sunk).

All in all quite a varied Duel list, though nothing covering anything earlier than WWII.

A couple of good ones here. I hope that USN vs Kamikaze could be very good, especially if it covers more than just attacks on aircraft carriers. I shall get 71 and 74 as well. Very glad that we are having a break from "Panzers vs Everybody".
