Bryn Hammond to give talk on El Alamein

In Military History
Bryn Hammond, author of the upcoming El Alamein: The Battle that Turned the Tide of the Second World War, is giving a talk on the battle at the National Army Museum, London.
Drawing on the remarkable research undertaken for his book, Hammond will provide riveting first-hand accounts of the battle which changed the course of the Second World War, focusing on the real, personal experiences of the people in the middle of this turning point in history. El Alamein saw a victorious German army stopped and defeated by an army widely considered to be demoralized and beaten. For the first time in the war, Germany would loose a major battle, and with it start a terminal decline towards inevitable defeat.
The talk will take place at the museum on the 21st of June. For more information and to book, please visit the National Army Museum website.
Hammond’s book, El Alamein: The Battle That Turned The Tide of The Second World War is released in June, and is available to pre-order now.
