Osprey will be working from home from Tuesday 17th March. We plan to continue all our operations, while reducing risk of infection by having staff work from home. Please note that we are doing our best to manage incoming post and parcels. For the time being please refrain from sending items to our offices and please assume that items that you have sent to us, have not arrived with their intended recipient. Our priority remains the wellbeing of staff, authors, customers, freelancers, suppliers and distributors. We would like to thank all for their support whilst we transition to virtual operations.

It’s another long weekend for our British customers, so we thought we’d fill you in on some events going on around the UK.

On 24 May the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth opened 36 Hours: Jutland 1916, The Battle That Won The War, a blockbuster exhibition commemorating the centenary of the battle of Jutland. The exhibition brings together material from across the UK and Germany.

Starting on Saturday 28 May IWM North is hosting A Closer Look Tour: War and Clothing, shedding light on a period of British history when a third of the population found themselves in uniform.

The Royal Armoury in Leeds will showcase around 100 items from the remarkable Staffordshire Hoard collection in their Warrior Treasures: Saxon Gold from the Staffordshire Hoard exhibition.

Richmond Castle in North Yorkshire is hosting a Knights’ Tournament from 28 – 30 May, with the combatants testing their skills in a range of events.

Head to the Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset on 30 May to see armoured vehicles and a Main Battle Tank thunder around the Kuwait Arena.

We hope you all have a great weekend!
