David Thompson was born in Savannah, Georgia. He began designing games as part of the Cambridge design community when he lived in the UK. He now lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife and three children. He is best known for Undaunted (Osprey), War Chest (AEG), and the Switch & Signal (Kosmos).
